I'm a portrait artist, and I specialise in creating elegant, almost photographic-quality paintings. I usually create my portraits by working with photographs as source material, and I've had the great honour of working with many remarkable models from both Europe and the USA. I greatly value all picture comments and endeavour to return them all.
I'm looking to paint fine art capturing the beauty of female models in the following environments - sat on steps, in old fashioned interiors, by windows and sat at cafe tables. For me, elegance is the key.
If you have any photos in your portfolio that might work as source material I'd love to hear from you. It's difficult to describe exactly what I'm looking for, but I know it when I see it!
Although my drive to paint stems from a great passion for this work, I'm also a professional artist. I exhibit regularly in England, particularly in the Cotswolds. I also create work on a commissioned basis. I mostly paint onto canvas using acrylics, but also paint with watercolour on paper. A company in Germany uses my most celebrated painting, 'Woman Bathing' as the template for one of their remarkable mosaics:

I'm also a published author (Dark Star (2005)) and novelist (Ezekiel One (2009) and 'The Followers of Horus (2010)). I have a significant presence on the internet, and have appeared regularly on TV, radio and in documentaries.
Hope you enjoy taking a look at my little MM gallery! There are loads more paintings to look at on my art website (link above).
