I am looking for naturalistic models who aren't into posing but are comfortable being themselves.

My primary interest is in character studies, where the personality of the model is revealed in the process of image making.

I like doing erotic/nude work with both male and female models, but I feel there's a vital distinction between the erotic and the strictly pornographic. I find many images of clothed female models "posing" to be pornography, but I've been lucky to work with some female nude models who exist as themselves in front of the camera. These women are amazing.

I have a particular interest in working with male models who want to explore what I might inelegantly call "male boudoir," where men learn to see themselves as beautiful sexual beings unafraid of being gazed at and desired.

My some of artistic influences are Egon Schiele, Peter Hujar, Mike Disfarmer, Diane Arbus, and Jenny Saville. Looking at the work of some of these artists will help you understand my style. I happily answer any questions about my photographic style and process.
