Perfect: the urban nudes project showcases women of different ages, shapes, sizes, and ethnicity, doing so in a distinctly urban or non-studio environment. Hopefully some of the photographs we make will lead to something more meaningful and lasting than just pretty pictures.
In the future, the project will be published in book form and exhibited widely in galleries both here and abroad. The sacrifices made, by both the model and myself, in time, effort, thought and monetarily are to these ends only. Self aggrandizement, dating models, and making money, for me, are not means nor ends. I do not charge the women/men I work with.
I do not intend to sell any images. If a photograph ends up on a gallery wall, then the money after the gallery takes its cut I intend to give to charity or to further the work on the project. Not to buy daddy a new pair of shoes.
