I am a plus model who was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.. I spent the earlier years of my life traveling the world as a military child. I graduated from Matthew C. Perry High School in Iwakuni, Japan . The same day I received my diploma I asked my father for one thing. A plane ticket to move to New York City. That summer I decided that I was going to take matters into my own hands and take on the "Concrete Jungle" on my own. After spending two years in this hard city alone. I decided to move Pennsylvania, where I still reside. Years later I decided after surviving cancer that I was going to be a Model. Being a plus size Latina my whole life was not easy nor was I ever really accepted. With no training I went out on a limb and took on the world of Fashion. Two weeks later I got my first modeling job for two designers during New York Fashion Week Sept. 2005. The next day I got my second job modeling for Monif C. Clothing release party. After that the jobs slowly rolled in. However, I have more dreams and aspirations on my mind. While continuing to build a name for myself in the Fashion Industry as a model, I am constantly taking steps toward my second love. Which is educating plus size adolescents to pursue their dreams through positive reinforcement, psychological counseling, and self awareness.
