*EXTREMELY SELECTIVE TESTING*
Only really testing with AGNCEY STANDARD/ SIGNED MODELS. As this is a full time thing for me and its my job please don't be offended if I give you my rates. My rates are VERY reasonable for what you get in return, so please don't hesitate to ask.
I'm here to collaborate with like minded and inspiring creatives, to create something with an editorial, strong, fashion forward and edgy feel to it. Really thinking outside the box and experiment with being crazy. Achieving to create images inline with what you see in I-d, Dazed, POP, LOVE, 10, ANOTHER, INDIE magazine etc.
I love experimenting and being spontaneous on my shoots and just having a good old time. Love the unexpected and putting things together that wouldn't normally mix going against the norms. I've always been a firm believer in the theory of if you're limited by technical tools its somehow makes you think outside the box creatively and makes you think on your feet (which is much fun)
My inspirations are drawn from all over the place. Music, Photography and Fashion are the main ones.
Adore the works of: Nan Goldin, Corrine Day, Steven Meisel, Juergen Teller, Emma Summerton, Ian Cole, Nick Knight, Tim Walker and Mario Testino to name a few
Always wanting to collaborate with Stylist, MUAs and Hair Stylist. If you're one of them (or maybe you can do several- I salute you multitaskers) get in contact of you want to create some magic.
Got a few golden rules though:
1) I DON'T give out RAW/ UNEDITED files. NO exceptions. I've had models edit images in the past and make the images look unprofessional and tacky. It's a collaboration everyones necks are on the line. Think about it this way would a painter just draw an outline?
2) I really HATE people who FLAKE OUT on me. Thats just RUDE. If you can't make it to a shoot give me a bit of warning and we can figure something out. I've had NO SHOWS in the past. Its unprofessional and if a full team is involved you waste their valuable time.
3) People ask me this and my answer is usually a NO. Photoshop. I don't usually photoshop my images. I feel like if i wanted to photograph someone plastic looking i would use a mannequin. If you can get the right light and Make up then there is no need for photoshopping. Well it is our imperfections that make us unique and mysterious.
4) As I've mentioned before. I'm EXTREMELY SELECTIVE with the models I test with. It's a full time job for me and my time and availability is not a lot. If you want me to test with you then you have to bring it to the plate as they say. NO QUEENS OF HOOCH or GHETTO RUDE BOY. I'm all about creating high fashion images with a twist. Its all about VERSATILITY. My motto as always been:
"You can't put a page 3 girl in a Chanel suit"
5) I prefer working with natural light and working outdoors on location. So bear that in mind. Will occasionally do shoots in my (makeshift) studio.
