About Me

First things first: I'm extremely busy and depending on the shoot, the final portrait TAKES TIME!  Especially if it's a digital painting.  My paintings aren't "push button" filter paintings.  Every brushstroke you see is genuine.  It's extremely time consuming and labor intensive (averaging about 15-30hrs each) and a few models have expressed frustration for how long it takes me to finish them. This is because by necessity, I have to put paying customers first. I hope you understand!

If we do work together, one thing I insist on is having a Face-2-Face meeting first. I normally do this at a coffee shop, etc. The reasons for this is because there's a nice creative chemistry that happens when discussing ideas F2F instead of over the internet.  It also helps the actual shoot because the awkwardness of the first meeting is out of the way and since we'd already discussed our ideas ahead of time, we can start with the work as soon as you arrive at the studio (or wherever). Most importantly, I feel it's important to have a meeting in a public place with anyone I meet on the internet. If you don't already do this, I strongly urge you to do so. I can send you news stories as to why a little caution on your part will keep you freak free and out of harm's way!
