About me

David de Lara is an artist based in Austin, Texas whose unmistakable style and brash approach continues to make people take notice. For the past decade he has created portraits and figurative work of women. Photography is among the mediums he works in and his style plays off of glamour and leans more towards dark, edgy, and artistic. Some images of the women he photographs are distorted digitally or by hand in order to blur the line between the reality and surrealism of life.

BOOKING RATES (AKA "I'll work with you if you give me money")
David is seeking paid work and offers photo sessions for models interested in building up their portfolios and others looking for an artistic collaboration.

LIMITED TFP/CD (AKA "Let's make some art")
David offers TFP/CD only for exceptional models and ideas. Generally, trade work is limited to creative concepts he would like to work on.

PAID WORK FOR MODELS (AKA "I like you so much, I'll pay you")
David offers paid assignments for models on a very select basis.

2011 Austin Fashion Week Award Winner - People's Choice for Best Mash Up Team

David de Lara has exhibited his art and been involved in projects where is has work has been seen throughout Texas in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Corpus Christi and nationally in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Albuquerque, Detroit, and Tampa. Notable events where his photography was exhibited include the 2010 Seattle Erotic Art Festival, the 2010 Tata Gala, The Dirty Show 2011 (Detroit, MI), and Nude Nite Tampa 2011.
