Some quick points...
1. If you are wondering what kind of work I am interested in or what I am planning to do in the future, please check out my lists. I have one for art nudes that inspire me and one for clothed pics that inspire me. If they inspire you as well then let's talk!
2. I now have a tattoo... WOO! But it's on the back of my neck and easily hidden under my long hair... maybe one day I will have more though...
3. Please leave your phone number for me so I can put it in my phone - if I don't have a name to who is calling I usually don't pick it up... phones scare me.
4. I don't do hustler style nudes. I don't even have the body shape for it anyway. I don't want to do anything that would end up on a low budget pornographic website either (for example, supposedly art nude but with terribly normal lighting and some kind of girl-next-door grin on my face). So unless it is in your model release that you will not use them for any kind of pornographic purposes, print or otherwise, then I cannot do it. (Yesssss some photographers actually have stuff like that that somewhat benefits the model rather than just the photographer in their releases :p)
5. I am now NO LONGER DOING TF* UNLESS THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY: I have done tf* with you before, or if you have looked at my pictures and think your photography and your idea is better than anything else I have, or would be somehow beneficial to me. I almost feel bad for saying all that, but as you can see, I have pictures coming out of my ears, I really don't need that many more, so if you say to me 'this will be good for building your portfolio' then you better be bloody fantastic because I am so sick of hearing that line :p (And I have a hard time saying no
but I just don't have the funds anymore to warrant doing tf*)

THE LONGER, BETTER STORY
I'm Alinta, I come to you as a professional model, digital photo retoucher (taking after my grandmother who used to retouch images by hand in the 40's or so) and hopeful props/equipment handler (however I am cursed to have large lights fall on me!). I am also a freelance writer/journalist (if you know anyone on the Coast who needs one... looks like I might have to move to Bris). I am based on the Gold Coast (near Brisbane), Australia. I have 8 years theatre experience, 5 years promo modelling experience and 2 years catwalk and photographic experience but I am definately trying to get away from the 'promo' scene to be honest. I have already worked with a number of amazing photographers in my short career and I am interested in alternative, glamour, artistic, gothic and fashion photography. Anything a bit edgy and different! I also do runway modelling and acting. I have performed in contemporary plays on the stage but my training has been Shakespearean. I have modelled Kookai, Busstop Boutique, and Veve Swimwear (so gorgeous) on the runway. I have worked in promotions for Shooters and events for Versace. I have also worked as an artist's model as well as a hair model (wigs are awesome).
As an art student, having done lots of work with photoshop and web design, and a bit of photography myself, I have a greater understanding of photography as a craft. I have worked as a crew member on photoshoots/independant films as a behind the scenes photographer and props and equipment handler. I am currently working as a photo editor for a national photography company.
I have a history of theatre performing, so bringing character and attitude to my shots is most interesting to me. I love shots where body shape and colour is most important. I think my love for this stems from my love of contemporary dance and also contemporary theory about the body and anatomy (but just because I love it doesn't mean I can do all those crazy flexy poses, but I try my best). Please don't ask to do nude shots unless they are highly artistic (therefore the probability of them ending up in suspicious places on the internet is less likely) I have a huge admiration for artistic nude images, but not so much for mediocre nude images.
I am open to all sorts of creative ideas so drop me a line and I'll put the kettle on and talk some crazy stuff! I am approachable, friendly, sometimes timid, but never ever a spoilt girly princess type (but I can be if you like!). I have a pierced navel, which can be taken out if need be. I have my drawbacks, I'm not perfect, but I try incredibly hard with what I have. I Am willing to travel for the right shoot, but am wary of some offers (due to scams, which sucks for those who are honestly interested!!)

NOTICE: Until I can get more modelling work I have a boring normal job so I am basically restricted to shooting on weekends or sometimes late evenings if you are thinking a nighttime shoot. However if you are really awesome and don't have time on weekends just explain this to me and I can see if I can get a day off work to work with you
