From my portfolio a strong vintage flair can be seen in all of the photos. I am drawn to the French postcard look, but am not limited by it. I love anything that is creative and goes a bit beyond the overdone.
I love working with costumes, props and backgrounds. These can be provided by you or me. I do not make money off these photos, as these are for my personal portfolio and more for sheer artistic integrity than anything else. So if costumes, props, backgrounds, and/or stylized hair and make-up are a requirement for your photos, ample time needs to be allowed between bookings and the actual shoot date. I want to have amazing photos for both your own portfolio and mine and those cannot occur with a few days of prep.
I am very busy and receive an enormous amount of emails daily.
If you are interested in working with me I need a certain level of artistic commitment. An open line of communication is a must. Be persistent. If I don’t respond immediately or at all, it’s not personal, be persistent.
I want to know what you want out of the shoot. What ideas do you have? What can you contribute? After all it is a collaborative effort.
Another photographer put this so well, I'm using his own words;
“Please understand that my final product is a piece of art. After the shoot is finished, I typically spend MANY MORE hours in front of the computer editing and post processing images. I do not provide any unedited images, most times I will provide 1-3 finished images per look. This is especially true for highly stylized images that require a lot of Photoshop work.
If you like my work and you can live with having only one or two kick ass images instead of a whole cd of useless images, please contact me and we can collaborate.
There are exceptions to every rule and if you want to negotiate terms feel free to make me an offer.”
That being said, both my assistant and I have strong backgrounds in a range of fields including Make-up, SPFX Make-up, Costumes and props and therefore with enough time and planning could pull off any idea or concept that you can think of. I want to continue in the niche that I’ve found but am trying to progress into something different, something even more artistic. If you can help push me in the right direction, we can make magic. Share an idea with me, I bet we can pull it off beautifully!
Thanks!
