BIO:
For all that, do not know I recently returned to college after working at a daily newspaper for 6 1/2 years. I am a 26-year-old Southerner born and raised.
I have already completed one stint at college earning an Associated of Arts Degree in Journalism in the spring of 2003 before committing the majority of my time to the newspaper business. In 2003, I started producing the sports for the sister paper in addition to my full-time job at the daily. Also in that same year, I took over the newspaper’s website before giving it all up and returning to the college ranks in the spring of 2008. So I am versed in contacts throughout the media world, layout and design and website design – but I left that business when I accepted my new career so I only dabble in it now.
I have had the honor of winning numerous Mississippi Press Association awards as well as APME awards including stories I wrote about life in Mississippi.
I am currently working on my four-year degree in Organizational Leadership from a private university in Tennessee.
I was once TASERed in pursuit of a story about a local police force having to go through the training to receive the non-lethal weapons.
In addition, if you have any questions, I am more than welcome to provide inquisitive persons with answers.
SHOOTS:
I do require that a model release be signed for each shoot including TFP/TFCD -- this is to cover my own butt and with the new 2257 regulations set to go in effect, a copy of driver’s license to prove proof of age for records might be require depending on the photos that are taken.
I tend to stay in northeast Mississippi for doing photos and think that this portion of the country is a great place to do photographs. If you are in the area, please feel free to tell me and we will see if we can set up a shoot.
CONTACT:
Please feel free to contact me through the Model Mayhem system and we will try to work something out on possible shoots and other inquiries that you may have.
