I am a photographer and videographer in the St. Louis area with twelve years experience working with models and over twenty-five years experience in photography.

Current Ambitions

While I haven't completely abandoned nude art and glamour photography, my professional endeavors are currently focused on the production of adult-oriented content.  It doesn't pretend to be art (although I think of it that way), but it challenges the mainstream, is kind of brainy, and is definitely fun.  I have a great deal of flexibility about what is required, and it is always paid work.  Adult content is outside the scope of Model Mayhem, but if you would like to discuss it with me in a civilized manner, contact me and I will give you my email address.

Photographic Style

My style seems to fall into one of two categories: gritty images that are loaded with symbology, or beauty and glamour with technical precision.  I have tried combining the two, and somehow the result always goes one way or the other.  In my art, I strive to make a statement or tell a story in layers, using visual symbols and elements that make you think, providing deeper meaning with deeper examination.  I am fond of images that make people think about elements in our world which are normally ignored.  However, other times I concentrate more on beauty and sensuality, using light and color (or the absence of color) to accentuate and intensify.

Shooting With Me

Please do not approach me about building or updating your portfolio.  At this point, I prefer to work with paid models; I am no longer up for the obligations of delivering images back to the model.  I will consider TFP/TFCD only if the model is willing to accept the few images I choose to use for my own portfolio.  Though I am willing to work with people who are relatively inexperienced, models should be able to provide examples of the type of work they are being considered for.

Filmmaking

I am also spending much of my time working in (motion) film and video.  If you have acting ambitions, please contact me, as there are always amateur film projects going on.
