SCHEDULE
Oct. 16 - Shoot with Miss CarlyW and Michele Rivera
My name is Jill and I'm twenty years young. I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember and I've been working with models for four years. Right now I'm a junior at Montclair State working to get my BFA in photography, and I consider myself very lucky to have found my calling in life at such an early age.
I come from an art, rather than a commercial background, and I consider that very important to my work. Even in a commercial assignment, I believe it is important to bring something unique and innovative to the table. I like to challenge myself and whomever I am working with to be as creative as possible. I enjoy things that are edgy, alternative, and often make you squirm in your seat.
Though my roots are in digital, in the past two years of my college career I have learned the ins and outs of the darkroom. I can shoot both 35mm and 4x5, and I love the detail and drama that can be gained from these mediums. I can shoot on location as well as in the small studio I have access to on my college campus.
In terms of rates, mine are reasonable and often negotiable. I am more than willing to work out a deal of sorts. Mostly I am just asking for travel compensation and perhaps a small deposit to discourage flaking, or money to purchase film/paper if necessary to the shoot.
Also, there seems to be a bit of confusion with this...if I friend request you, I'm more than likely interested in working with you!

Concepts I'm currently interested in:
- Tension - showing the way the body contorts with limbs through a mesh screen with dramatic studio lighting.
- A shoot in an orchard.
- A shoot on or near a farm. I'm pretty close to New Egypt and Farmingdale and there's tons of farmland!
- Something Manet-inspired (flat, bright colors, "cutout" effect)
- SOMETHING with a wedding dress. PLEASE.
- Pitbull awareness - models who love their pits, help me dissolve the myths surrounding them through photos.
- More pinup, haven't done any in years.
- Something Lovecraft-inspired.
- Something involving a bridal gown.
- "Ghost" shoots with double exposures.
- A nude model wearing a Japanese Noh mask/something similarly grotesque.
- Basically anything nude that isn't overtly sexual, seeing as I've NEVER done anything nude.
- Portraits where the model's personality really shines through, something Richard Avedon would want to buy me a steak dinner for.
- Anything with fake mustaches.
- Bald models, you are beautiful.
- Using any of the random antique cameras I own.
