I am photographer-filmmaker Terry Smith. In May of 1996 I began a photo essay on youth culture as art. After much local PRESS here in San Diego I decided to start making a documentary about the photo essay. In 2004 film production began. Most of the talent has come from my own sphere of influence...be it skating or just hanging out with friends at a party or art event. However, some talent have come from Model Mayhem and they're featured in motion picture footage and in my still photographic work. On occasion I will shoot portfolio or head shots...though much of my time is dedicated to shooting content for my on-going photo essay. Don't hesitate to contact me regarding a shoot.
