Mayhem # 528450
I have been studying Art history for some time shooting streets, shapes, landscape, colors, textures and yet not many prearranged sets with posing models.
Having been exposed to and studying countless amount of paintings I want my photographs not only to look somehow like paintings but also through symbols and the mood contained within I want to provoke the viewer to be pondered and seek beyond the image surface.
I have not done much of portraiture and hope that this site will change that. I would like to do some radically innovative shots, sort of fashion like with limited but vivid color palette (think Guy Bourdin), of light resembling that of the motion pictures (see Chloé adds), unusual point of view, and strong sense of geometry and rhythm (think Guy Bourdin again), melancholy, isolation and existentialist introspection (Edward Hopper), and let me not forget about the french film noire.
Strange mix indeed, add to this an elektro sound and the result might be quite upstanding.
Enriching my portfolio is the main objective, so TFP/TFCD is what I’m hoping for, right now at least.
