by now my pictures begin to speak for me. In the six years I have been part of this Mayhem, my work has evolved as it probably does for every one else. In the beginning it is a struggle to just get the exposure right, then to get a image I like, then to finally get images someone else might like. Please visit my Current Directions
to see for yourself. Everything else represents my Journey. If you like my images, please post a comment or two. If you would like to work with me, model or photographer, please ask.
I exclusively shoot nudes at my Studio in San Diego... I try to create images that are classy and respectful of women but that is defined in the eye of the viewer. I work with each model to develop something we are both proud to display.
I expect the model to be professional enough to show up to the studio on time, prepared to shoot, with hair styled and make-up and wardrobe the way we have previously discussed. I do NOT reschedule any one who cancels out the night before a shoot or worse.
WORKSHOPS AND STUDIO RENTAL
I do one-on-one workshops with photographers that would like to improve their captures. Every session is custom fit to you.
My studio rents for $100 for a half day shoot. It is intimate and limited to one photographer, model and assistant. Not available for workshops or multi-photographer shoots. Contact me directly for more information and booking. Link to Studio Pics
From Patrick Steele
"I was very fortunate to work with Larry and rent his studio yesterday. As a mentor, Larry is great... provides the technical knowledge that is so important in getting the most from his lighting and fantastic studio. He is low-key, non-intrusive, and gives you the space to experiment on your own. At the same time, he's got a great eye, offers suggestions that are supportive and creative without intruding in your working with your model."
"Thank you very much for the mentoring session at your studio. The equipment and facilities were top notch. You were very helpful and a great coach without being too directive and allowing for experimentation and mistakes. The best part was that I walked out with some truly stellar images. I'll be back!"
