Hello all. Welcome to my profile and thanks for taking the time to check out my play (usually referred to as work, but I prefer to try and make it fun). Most of my photographic interests lie in the realm of portraiture as I feel that the successful capture of the human form can be one of the most emotive and touching forms of artistic expression. My primary portrait style is probably best described as glamour-inspired with a twist. That twist usually means throwing something a little different into the traditional glamour look by incorporating elements of fine-art, something period, dark fantasy, or fetish.
I'm always on the lookout for quality models, especially if they have something that sets them apart from the rest. I have very reasonable rates for studio and location shooting and I am also willing to come to you. I am willing to discuss TFCD work with those who bring something special to the table or who have an interesting idea for a shoot. I am open to shooting within any photographic genre and with anyone who is really excited about the process so, if you have a certain look or feel that you are trying to capture, let me know.
Finally, I am not an artistic snob who thinks that models are there to be seen and not heard. While I may come into a shoot with some specific shots and/or concepts in mind, I am also interested in hearing your input. If you have general ideas or specific things that you want to try then, by all means let me know. Some great shots have started with model suggestions and I believe that the process of capturing an image HAS to be a partnership between the model and the photographer. Without that, you end up with flat, lifeless images with no sense of who the subject is. As a photographer, it's my job to capture what the model is projecting and, if we can't connect artistically, then that can't happen. So I always encourage the models I work with to get involved in the process. If you like the style that I shoot or have an interesting suggestion - drop me a line. I'm all ears. Forget taking pictures - let's make some art.
