Small Company, Colossal Dreams!



Recluse Pictures began as a small, independent film company based in Philadelphia PA.  Though we initially came to Model Mayhem with hopes and dreams of just casting people for films, we caught the photography bug.  Yes, we had dabbled with cameras before and taken pictures, but we’ve grown.  We take it much more seriously than we did in the beginning and think that we can go far by branching out and having an entire division that is dedicated just to photography.

Would you like to work with us?  We would love to add some new models and perhaps even a few photographers to our team.  We’re hitting more conventions and other events, hoping to get our projects more exposure and you could be part of the action. 

We originally posted that we were looking for models to do horror and fetish, which is still our main focus, but we’ve seen so many photos on this site that we would love to do other genres.  Pinup, Gothic, Alternative Fashion, and some Fantasy (Yes, elves and warrior princesses).  If you’re interested in expanding your portfolio, while helping us expand ours, then by all means, let’s talk. Check our list titled "Images that Inspire Me to Create" to see some of what we would like to shoot in the future.  Though it is only a small set of examples, it should definitely show the directions that we'd like to take.

Our goals to achieve excellence and make a name for ourselves that is recognizable throughout the industry have not changed.  Our aspirations however have become bigger and we hope that we can work with as many people as possible.  We are not the types who let people down or bring disappointment to those we work with.  We take what we do seriously but still have fun doing it.  If you’re in it to have fun and maybe find some glory at the end of the road, then you’re our kind of people.  If you’re just out here trying to get rich, stand in line with the countless others who share your dreams.  The money may come in time or maybe never at all, but the memories behind everything we share will be worth your time.
