Nancy Frye

Performing arts have been a big part of my life since childhood. Having worked as an artist's model for a number of years, I've decided to try my hand at other kinds of modeling! I have a B.A. in Drama from U of WA, where I focused on Costume Design. Acting comes naturally to me, and so I've worked in on stage and in front of the camera as well as backstage and behind the camera. I have a love of history and am always excited to do character or genre work. My given name is Nancy, but I have also performed as Middle Eastern Dancer (belly dancer) "Nabila Nawar".

I love working with photographers, painters, and other fine artists. I am willing to discuss work for credit, prints, etc. if the work is unusually compelling and creative or in a good cause. I'm particularly interested in images that tell a story. Straight glam is not particularly exciting to me...unless it's pre-1950s inspired.

I also live on 5 acre small "farm" with horses, chickens, cats and other livestock. It's a great location for outdoor work where we host modeling events twice a year!
