BEFORE READING ON
-Please no fly by friend requests if you don't intend to check in again. If you don't leave a comment, TAG, or message before adding me as a friend, I'm not likely to accept your request.
-Please don't invite me to shoot with you and later on tell me your rates. I'm mostly interested in collaborative work, having fun, and making some great art.
-I am unwilling to do nude/erotic/bondage photography,
and you'll have to explain exactly what you have in mind for implied nudes or glamour. Edgy and sensual images are great, and I would still like to keep a tasteful portfolio.
Thank you for your consideration.
INTERESTS & MY STYLE
-I got my college degree in Biology and work as a massage therapist. I have enjoyed art my whole life and modeling and photography are how I tend to express myself artistically these days.
-I love working hands-on with animals, especially reptiles and amphibians and I would be excited to shoot with snakes and other animals if given the opportunity.
-Most of my own photography is focused on natural subjects. If you're interested, please look at the work I've done by visiting my deviantArt gallery.
-I think my interests are a basis for my style. I wouldn't consider myself to know a lot about high fashion, but would be interested in getting more experience shooting fashion and editorial.
-I'm a nature girl at heart and am more in my element doing outdoor shooting vs. studio work. I don't mind climbing up trees or getting a bit dirty, but don't last too long in the cold.
-For wardrobe style, I like dark and bright colors, Asian and ethnic accents, fantasy themes, tailored/fitted clothes, flowing or draping material, and casual wear. I have a limited budget for adding to my wardrobe though, so please keep that in mind for shoots.
-My income doesn't come from modeling, so my availability will be strongly influenced by my work schedule.
-Modeling is mostly a hobby for me, because it's enjoyable and can be an artistic outlet for me. I enjoy working with different photographers on collaborative projects, especially if they're artistic or conceptual.
-Paid shoots would be great, but it's not an expectation by any means. I would appreciate having my travel costs covered if I have to travel more than an hour to get to a shoot location.
WORKING WITH ME
-I would love to do some TF*
work or test shooting with local photographers or those in the area.
-I prefer to shoot fairly close to home (Vancouver/Portland) when possible. Shoots near Seattle are okay if it's an interesting project that has been well planned out.
-Currently, I'm available Mondays
. Tuesday AM
and Friday or Sunday PM
may work for local shoots as well. The more advance notice I'm given, the more likely my schedule will still be open.
-I will do a range of genres and out of the ordinary is always a plus. I'd love to try working with contortions, interesting angles, fantasy themes, dark and edgy looks, cosplay, etc. Also, I'd love to help designers or stylists show off their work.
-I have no piercings or tattoos and am not likely to be coloring my hair any time soon.
-Unless an MUA/hair stylist is provided, I do my own makeup and hair, which tends to be pretty simple.
-I'm a bit shy, so sometimes it takes a while to warm up to a new photographer if they're more on the quiet side as well. Connecting with them helps me bring out my best expressions.
-I'm a big fan of planning, so communicating well before a shoot is really useful for me. A few weeks advance notice
-If you're interested in working with me based on what you've learned so far, send me a message and we can try to make something work. I enjoy hearing what kinds of ideas you have in mind for shooting.
Thank you for stopping by!
-I do quite a bit of general Photoshop editing and enhancement of my own photos, so I am more than willing to work with jpegs (or RAW files if you're open to that) from shoots we work on together.
-If you don't have much/any Photoshop experience yourself or want to see what I can add to our images, let me know what all you want me to do.
