I do value the attitude of some people I work with a lot. This is how it should be done - courteous, respectful, always willing to allow flexibility if possible. This is very professional and pleasant approach I really appreciate. Thank you for your appreciation of my time and efforts.
Due to some misunderstanding with people that behave like kids rather then adults I ask people that are not interested in working with me to say so. Once clear we know we shouldn't bother each other.
Same thing for people with overwhelming demands, that are often simply funny. I always discuss our agreement before shooting, and hearing demands before even knowing the project idea is disrespectful and therefore ignored. I'd rather go do something then speak of nothing.
So please, those that don't intend to make it all the way to the result - the image - don't bother and move on.

Born and raised in Ukraine, and have been influenced by photographers from that part of the world a lot.
I started from technically very complicated photography of northern lights and grew into landscape and people. I tend to shoot NOT glamor-looking images (I can make them, just don't like that), but try making more realistic "genre" shots. If I know I feel comfortable with the person in front of my camera, and if the person is comfortable with me - we can do more then just casual images.
That is why I try to communicate with a person more than just "hey, let's shoot", but become friendly first. This is why I tend to offer casual something with the camera first, to feel the person and let the person feel who I am. Hopefully that develops into friendly and creative relationship that allows to create something... What it ends up with - you can judge on images.
I only learn studio lighting and hope to see more people willing to try it out under studio lights. Otherwise I shoot available light most of the time.
I live in Alaska, but travel due to my job requirements. Most often locations I travel to are:
- North Slope, AK
- Aberdeen, United Kingdom;
- Lafayette, LA (and within 1-2 hours in any direction);
- Houston, TX;

I still do a lot of landscape photography, and travel around quite a lot.
As far as working with people I"d like to find ones willing to go out, sometimes for a days or two or three, making some trips to relatively remote locations and getting into nice light then it is there... Also I keep it friendly and not abusing, this is not dating.
I do shoot digital, medium format film and large format film. Color and black-and-white.
Please let me know if interested in shoots, I prefer doing photography as TFP/TFCD, as this is rather hobby not business for me. Paid assignments are also welcome, however if they are based on specific date I can't guarantee I will accept that - my main job schedule is relatively easy to adapt, but long term planning is hard as I might be gone for long periods of time and dates change fast sometimes.
