Brief History:
At age 10 on a family vacation my parents gave me a Kodak Brownie camera so I would stop irritating everyone with a continual barrage of questions. Well..... it soon became my passion and has turned out to be a rewarding lifetime career.
My passion for photography has taken me all over the world - I just returned from South America and previously in the past 3 years Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uraguay,SA, Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam, Taiwan, Cambodia, China, Laos, Ecuador,SA, India/Nepal and Cuba (Please see my Gallery on Facebook - Brian Keith Smith ). My portfolio reflects my interest in the many cultures that exist. I am always interested in the interaction between the subjects in front of my camera and myself - do we make a connection? When we do the results are very powerful!
I am a perfectionist and believe in the pursuit of quality. I am constantly upgrading my education with like minded professionals.
I enjoy the challenge of working in the studio and outdoors. The last six years I have worked exclusively in digital.
