My goal is so damn simple: FUN!!!! Hence....I created a project to bring that to fruition: "The Lonely Road". In it, I contrast models to empty, winding roads using motion, color and peeks of skin.. and the models who participate get to show off their personality, as well as their energy. You laugh, smile, jump, and can even act serious if you want to! But, the bottom-line, no pun intended, is to capture some gorgeous and unique pictures while also having a blast. And, you can see some of that work here on my MM page. But...I'm also pleased to FINALLY offer the book for sale/preview at:
http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/invited/ … nt=2387510
I hope you find the images eye-catching, colorful and full of life! I'm also now blogging the whole evolution of the book and the 150+ shoots which comprised book #1 at:
http://www.mgimageryphotography.com/?page_id=91
I'm also beginning to work on the 2nd edition of Lonely Roads and would love to work with you if you're not afraid to skip down a road half-naked! I ONLY SHOOT TFP and don't pay. So, if you love my style and think I can add to your port..I'd love to collaborate! Oh, and part of this Lonely Roads #2 book will be a side project featuring girls with guns that will also be sold as a calendar. I've got a friend with over 50 wicked, cool rifles and handguns and it's a bonus for joining me in this edition!
I also have been on the other side of the camera as well and partaken in some fabulous, artistic work. I'm in the book credited below, and have shot several times with Scott Cook as well as recently with Joe Saadeh @ Arts & Faces.
TESTIMONIALS:
Vanessa Tarachin # 463588:
Mike was such a pleasant soul to meet, such a breath of fresh air and he was amongst one of the only "true" free spirits I have met in life, he is very open and you would feel as if you have known him for years if your a free spirit too. Working together was so much fun, he gave me freedom to literally JUMP around and be the bubbly person I usually am at home, it was so lovely to do a different shoot for a change. Mike does so much to make a person feel good about themselves and is constently making sure you are comfortable, fed and watered throughout the shoot. He is has a "real" warm personality and is very humble, the best way to discribe him would be a "BIG BUNDLE OF JOY". I received a bunch of edited images within 3 days and they were amazing. I reccomend Mike to anyone who wants to brighten up thier port.~

I can say with total honesty that after six years of modeling, Mike has been the best photographer I have ever worked with. He was very complimentary, very friendly and put me at ease. He also works fast and he is super creative and never misses a shot. I'd recommend working with MG Imagery in a heartbeat!

I've been modeling for while and I have to say that Mike is the most fun photographer I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He's not just any photographer. He has you jump, skip, run, and do push-ups & jumping-jacks all in the sun and breeze! Advice: make sure you have plenty of sleep before a shoot with Mike! His quality in photography is beautiful and natural. If you have ideas shoot him a text or e-mail and he'll be up for it! And he's not just a photographer, he's a good friend to have and to talk to. He listens to you and gives advice. I highly recommend this Silly TALL Guy! When you see him he'll make you feel small but when you get to know him he'll make you feel like a big teddy bear!
So...come follow the project on my blog and website. I'll soon post a link to purchase and access my book, "The Lonely Road", and will also keep you updated on other materials as I have them ready!
Thanks to everyone who's supported me, encouraged me and shot with me on this site.
Model Mayhem ROCKS and has been integral in making this dream happen!
