Years ago I earned my living as a photojournalist and writer. Gradually, I pursued other interests and photography became an afterthought. My hope is to renew my craft as I learn to shoot digital images.  I have recently picked up a contract for a small, upscale woman's clothing store, so I will be posting these photos as they become published.

I worked for Playboy in Chicago for about three years.  I worked in promotion, not as a photographer.  It was a good experience. 

I am willing to work on a TFCD basis for the right projects and until I have a satisfactory body of work.

In 1988, Warren Farrell wrote the groundbreaking book: Why Men Are the Way They Are: The Male–Female Dynamic.   Farrell, elected to the national board of the National Organization for Women (NOW) three times, is no woman basher. But he recognizes the dynamics that propel the sexes into action. Over-simply put, our fantasies shape our movement. At the time the book was written, Playboy was the number one magazine for men. The fantasy for men was a world where beautiful, young women were completely open to men. But the number one magazine for women was not a female version of Playboy such as Playgirl or Cosmopolitan. It was Better Homes and Gardens. With these fantasies in place, it is not hard to see the trading begin. It helps explain why older men (with more money to provide a better home and garden) are attracted to younger women (with beauty and a desire for a beautiful home and garden) and why younger women reciprocate.
