PHOTOHISPANA STUDIO was born in 1990 in the heart of Washington DC created by Costa Rican born photographer and journalist Maria Elena Esquivel a former correspondent for the Associated Press and a member of the Washington Women Photojournalists.
The Studio present monthly photoshoots for professional photographers with new models, MUAS and hairstylist who gather to do fun non-commercial photo shoots in a very friendly and artistic enviroment. At the Photohispana the photographers come eager to do artistic and creative photos with concepts in fashion and modeling photography just to get more experience and add new pictures to their ports, as well to network with others.
The Studio also do workshops and offer photography classes with Miss Esquivel and other competent and experienced photographers.

The studio is in permanent search for new models looking to build their new PROFESSIONAL port but who cannot afford to hire photographers.
Miss Esquivel's photoshoots don't just bring models, MUAS and hair stylists together, but work with concepts, themes and cretive ideas for each shoot. At the Studio we work with many creative MUAs and stylists also in need of free photos to get more and better clients and business.
