Open Auditions for Los Angeles Laker Girls 2010 Squad
Want to be a member of the Laker Girls? Then get down to the team's practice and training facility this Saturday July 17, 2010. The Laker Girls are holding open auditions
for the 2010-2011 squad. Think you've got what it takes? Here is what you need.
* You must be at least 18 years of age
* Eight years of dance experience is recommended
* Bring a resume and a photo, a head shot is preferred
* Wear only dance or athletic shoes with non-marking bottoms
* Be dressed in a leotard
or a cropped top and briefs with flesh colored tights
* Don't bring anyone with you but if you do, they have to be left outside the facility
Registration for the Laker Girls auditions begins at 9 am sharp, says the notice on the Lakers website. Lisa Estrada will run the audition as she has for 20 years as the team's Director.
Estrada is in charge of all in-arena entertainment before, during and after Laker home games, not just the Laker Girls squad. She is a former Laker girl herself and is an accomplished dancer as well as choreographer for movies and television.
The location for the open auditions for the Laker Girls: The Toyota Sports Facility, N.555 Nash Street, El Segundo, California 90245.
