Note: I don't wear makeup, even on shoots. I'd be willing to and I'm fine with it, but you'd either have to do it yourself/have a makeup person or settle for some crappy makeup application by me.

I don't have much experience, but I've been doing this for about a year, I guess. I'm not really the typical model "personality," if there is such a thing.

I kind of go through phases of interest in my clothing. I have a huge wardrobe, and my love for fashion is mainly what got me into modeling. This year I've gone through PVC, latex, flapper dresses, Cuban heel stockings, gothic bellydance wear, retro/pinup outfits, etc. But I'm pretty much versatile within the alternative range.

I don't really want to "collaborate" with you. Don't read that wrong. Just don't expect me to know what I'm doing, because I don't.


I'm thinking about getting my hair cut short (a bob, I guess) sometime this spring/summer.

Hello, I am Lulu. I'm using this name because it's ironic; it's a kind of nickname I've had since birth, that I've always been called by my parents, relatives, friends of the family, etc. I'm twisting it for my own purposes and in an entirely different direction and style. (If you care to know, LuluoftheSilverScene is a play on "Lulu of the Silver Screen," which refers to Louise Brooks, one of my favorite actors. I love the 1929 film Pandora's Box. The "silver scene" is a kind of phrase/metaphor for a photograph, referring to the silver used in photography.)

I've always loved photography of all kinds, artistic, conceptual, surreal, photomanipulations, fashion, alternative, pinup, vintage, artistic nude, black-and-white, etc. I am particularly interested in alternative fashion shoots for myself. I would consider anything, though, that's not of the Sears portrait variety. I have many theories as to why people do modeling (I suspect that part of it is vanity), but at the end of the day I would still love to be an alt model, in another life where I have more talent and beauty/interesting looks. Basically I'm trying to find something in my own image that I'd like.
