ABOUT


Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my portfolio!

I’m a wild child who grew up in the country climbing trees and making dens – all my friends call me Celt! ...and yes I can still climb trees, so if you want me to just ask!

I am predominantly an Art Nude model, and quite simply love being nude (in front of the Camera or at Home)!

Whilst I do shoot a range of styles, I specialise in art nude as I find it very rewarding, and have been told on several occasions that my pre-Raphaelite look lends itself to this genre.

I am agency represented, but also work freelance.

I have done over 100 shoots, across several continents (Australia, USA, Europe...), and in a range of genres from beautiful art nudes in the snow to high fashion for known designers. I love working outdoors and interacting with my surroundings, and have worked in the snow, wind and rain to the sticky deserts in Nevada – so I am always up for a challenge in the name of Art, and most certainly not a ‘summer only’ model!

I am proud to say that I have no enhancements, piercings, markings or tattoos – and yes I do have pubic hair :-) !

I am currently living in the South West of England, however often travel nationally and internationally (visiting the USA at least once a year), so please don’t let my location stop us from getting creative!

Goals/Objectives...


Simply to continue doing what I love most – creating art, and trying new things!

I would love to shoot, and continue to learn from experienced photographers both professional and accomplished amateurs! I also get great fulfilment from helping totally new photographers achieve stunning images, by sharing the experience I have gained to date, on lighting, posing and composition!

So please don’t be shy to get in touch, as long as you aim is art, and you are respectful, I am happy to shoot regardless of your experience.

My other main goal, is to continue to meet so many fabulous creative minds, from models, to stylists, MUA’s, photographers...and artists, some of my dearest friends and inspirations I have meet in this community, and of course to continue to develop myself as a model.


LOCATION & AVAILABILITY


I am availiable to work throughout the UK on both weekdays and weekends, and with a bit more notice internationally!

As a rough guide, by train I can get to;

Bristol - 2Hrs
Cardiff - 3Hrs20
London - 3Hrs30
Birmingham - 3Hrs30
Worcester - 3Hrs30
Southampton - 4Hrs20

Liverpool - 5Hrs30

In the case of London, I often take the night train up, this allows me to be in London by 7am leaving an entire day free for shooting!

Whilst depending on your distance, travel contributions will vary, I do get 1/3rd off all train fairs, and for the moment free local buses. Also if you know another photographer in the area and arrange a shoot the same day, the costs will be split between both of you!

So please don't let my location stop us from working together


On Location

I currently live in Plymouth (UK), and am surrounded by fabulous outdoor locations to shoot art nudes, including beaches, moors, forests and of course Tin Mines. I would also be delighted to travel to a location of your choice. I am very comfortable working outdoors, and love the opportunity to interact with my surroundings!



Studio

If you happen to be in Plymouth, I am also delighted to shoot in my apartment, which is equipped with various 3m wide paper and fabric backgrounds (Green, Grey, White and Black) and Studio lights with all the relevant extras (brollies, soft boxes etc) - so please get in touch for more details


Needless to say, I am also happy to travel to your Studio!




THE SHOOT


What to Expect....

I realise many photographers have experienced problems with web-models in the past, but please be assured, I treat all freelance bookings with the same professionalism as my agency assignments

So, what you should expect from me is a punctual, well prepared (bringing any props/apparel previously discussed/outlined by the photographer), Rested (no baggy eyes from late nights), Sober and most definitely not intoxicated (I do not take drugs! Nor do I smoke) 

Prior to any art nude or lingerie shoots, I always ensure that I wear loose clothing – so that you do not spend half the shoot waiting to get rid of those annoying lines.

Also, when hair styling occurs, I will ensure I do not wash my hair the day before the shoot, as I appreciate this makes it far harder to style!

What I Expect....

In tern, I expect all photographers to treat me with respect! Thats it :-)

I do encourage discussions prior to the shoot about themes/ideas, so as I can input on the creative process, and we can obtain the best results in the shoot, however this is not essential!

I do not expect images from paid shoots, however any images provided by a photographer are always gratefully received and I ensure credit is given, and link the work to your folio if your here on MM to help you generate more hits!

Getting Dirty...


* Yes I am happy to work outdoors in Mud, snow etc
* Yes I don't mind my body being Painted
* Yes I will work under water (sounds extreamly fun)...
* Yes you can back brush my hair and put random bits in it if you desire, or spray it in crazy colours (providing it washes out)...

However, please let us agree this in advance of shooting, as I will not be able to do this if I have another shoot later in the day, as it would be unfair and unprofessional of me to turn up to the next photographer in a total state.



OTHER BITS AND BOBS

The Naughty Red Book

Whilst I understand that photographers are sometimes reluctant to work with internet models due to no-shows or lack of professionalism, this unfortunately goes both ways! Whilst I can guarantee that I myself act professionally, turn up on time and with all agreed apparel/items - as I am sure any of the photographers I have worked with will confirm, the following photographers are Unprofessional in there actions;

*BARRY MILLER - An LA Photographer on Model Mayhem under 'Studio44 Fotos Nudes' MM 725506 and 'Studio44 Fotos' MM 489854, and also on OMP 218127!

This photographer still owes me payment from a shoot on 17th August 2008 and is unfortunately the reason why I have to ask all other photographers I work with to pay up-front now!

*CHRIS KRALIK - MM 675544 I did not get the opportunity to work with this photographer, as he was 'elsewhere' at the time we were booked to shoot! This photographer cancelled with less than 24hrs notice, and failed to pay the compensation required for such cancellations!

If the tables were turned, and you were a professional photographer in a studio waiting for a model/client that booked you, how would it feel after you've already blocked off the day for a shoot, paid for equipment, studio etc, if I turned around with less than 24hrs notice and said, hey, I'm sorry I happen to be elsewhere - it's not tolerated in any other business, so why should it be tolerated in the modelling industry?

Needless to say, whilst I am happy to offer models honest references on any of the photographers I've worked with, I am unable to give positive feedback about the above photographers to models.

I am of the belief that if a model does a no show without significant reason (fatal injury/death or significant other medical emergency) then they should be named and shamed, as they give other models a bad reputation! but like I said, it goes both ways!


Measurement/Dress Size

I do check my measurements regularly and update accordingly, however if for clothings you require this down to the last cm please don't hesitate to ask.

OK, also MM doesn't seem to like 1/2's, so my exact measurements are currently 32B/C-23.5-35.5 as oppose to 32-24-35!!! which makes me a UK 6/8 a US 2/4 and an EU 34!

Markings/Piercings etc

I have NO Tattoos, NO Piercings and No Scars

Like anyone I do occasionally get the odd scratch from a bramble if working outdoors, and if for some strange reason I walk into something and get a big bruise I always let the photographer know in advance, and if as a result they wish to cancel that's there choice - no fee would be due!

I do have Pale Skin and Lots of Freckles especially in the summer months when they all like to pop up :-) so you've been warned!

Friend Requests, Tags and Critique


I welcome friend requests from everyone, and constructive critique on my images is gratefully received as it helps me to improve :-)

If I have sent you a friend request its because:

a. Photographers - I love your images and would like to work with you in the future

b. Models - Your work is outstanding, or you are simply stunning :-)

c. MUA's/Stylists - I would like to work with you in upcoming shoots

d. You have taken the time to comment on my images, or tagged me :-)

Conditions


- Rates for shoots within the UK and indeed the EU in general, unlike my US tours, are dependent on Travel distance etc, however are industry standard, so please enquire for details.

- Minimum Booking Time: 2hrs

- Cancellations - I expect 50% of the agreed shoot fee if a shoot is cancelled by the photographer...If the shoot is cancelled less than 12 hours before, I expect 100%. 

- For bookings outside the UK deposits are required.

- If you wish me to sign a MODEL RELEASE - this is fine, however I insist on retaining a copy of that release for my own records, also I request to see a copy of the release in advance of the shoot to ensure I can read and understand it fully and to not waste time in the shoot itself.

- MODEL RELEASES For TFP SHOOTS - I require a model release to be signed for Test Shoots. Full rights will not be released to the photographer, as these are non profit shoots, and images can only be published outside your personal folio unless stipulated in the release for agreed magazine submissions, and can not be sold etc unless agreed by both parties in which case profits are to be shared 50/50!!!! Those who decide to contravene the agreement will be prosecuted.

-  I am currently not looking for TFP/Test Shoots. This is my job, and whilst I am very passionate about creating outstanding images, and always strive to leave you speechless with my quality, my expenses are too great for me to travel around the world in exchange for images! However I can guarantee, like all the photographers I have had the pleasure of working with to date, whilst with me, you will definitely get quality, and most likely some of your best images to date - if not the best. I am punctual, experienced, professional, and can move instantly with every click - or hold a pose, exactly for a very long time.
However, if you truly feel that you can create something absolutely sensational, then please get in touch, and we can negotiate.

- I will work on a test basis with exceptional photographers if its for publication/tear project

- No open leg work accepted (unless I have clothes on obviously), plenty of models out there who are very attractive and interested in this - so please contact them and don't waste mine/your time and give them the extra work instead!

- Videos I do not permit videos to be taken during ANY nude shoot! Video footage will not be tolerated in any clothed shoot either, unless previously discussed. If photographers try to take video footage using obvious or indeed hidden cameras, they must understand it is in breach of the shoot conditions and action will be taken against them.

FAQ


+Do you do fashion/beauty/commercial work? Yes!

+Do you have/want an Agency? Yes, I currently am represented non exclusively by two AMA accredited agencies in London (one predominantly commercial, the other fashion). However, I am always happy discuss joining further agencies (especially in the US), but only interested in professional representation – so no silly website or photographers pretending to be agents please!

+If we hide your face and/or sell outside your country will you do adult work? NO

+Open leg? 99% of the time No (If it is very tasteful and totally in shadow like one of the images shoot from above here on my folio then that's ok) - in short no 'Pink' to show!

+Do you smoke? NO I do not smoke - however I am happy to use cigarettes and/or Cigars in shoots, if required for the concept at hand
