I learned to be a photographer, to show people the beauty I see in them. I learned to be a Make-up artist and Hair stylist, to give people confidence to show their inner and outer beauty. I learned to be a stylist, and creative director to bridge the gap between the photographer and model. And I learned to be an Airbrush artist, to reach out further into my imagination.
     In my life, I have worn many hats, but my heart has always lead  me back to the same place. The world of fashion and the theatrics. In fashion everything is in continual change, it is where artist can create the unimaginable. It seams to lie deep within my soul to always create. Some would call this a talent, I call it my passion. It drives me and inspires me to become everything I have ever wanted to learn. 
     Who I am, is an artist, I dream big, I learn from everything I do, and I am ambitious in everything I want to accomplish.

As far as working with me, Please know the following:

*I have been a freelance artist for over 10 years and I am experienced in many different styles of makeup ranging from natural looks to extreme/theatrical makeup.
*I am a perfectionist!!! I Always strive to have my work Flawless, I don't depend on photoshop to fix my mistakes. So FYI, I always take a few extra minutes to see if its the look you were wanting, and to make sure everything is perfect. Please don't expect me to do a half ass job, I won't put my name on the line like that.

*I am fun, energetic and very professional and I expect the same of those I work with. I am creative and will push myself (and those around me) to do what it takes to get that eye-catching, jaw-dropping shot.  Creativity breeds creativity and I am always inspired by the people I work with to go that one step further. Shoots, in my opinion, should be fun, collaborative and end with everyone leaving knowing there is at least one image they are dying to add to their port.

Finally, I can offer professional photographers and models value added services to include hair styling, wardrobe ideas, and coaching to models, as I personally have been a professional photographer (7 years) in the past.

my goal is to collaborate with professional, established photographers, stylists and models that are willing to compensate me for my talent.

I normally don't have time to do TFCD shoots, only because I stay so busy. My Artistry is what I do to support myself, and I try to stay active in planning events in the Fashion community as well. Although Quarterly, I will be holding annual "TF* shootouts" If you would like to take part in these please contact me about the dates that you are avail to come and collaborate.

I have three requirements for TRADE projects/agreements. These are to ensure that the portfolio development we do benefits BOTH of our portfolios.

The requirements below DO NOT APPLY to concepts intended for publication or concepts with predetermined image layouts/compositions.

1. I must be able to view gallery of raw images (via online gallery or cd) and pick a maximum of 3 from each look. I am fine with and expect a certain number of unuseable (as deemed by you) images to be eliminated before delivery of the gallery. I will NEVER use/manipulate ANY of your raw images.

2. Deliverables must be sent to me within 1 month of the shoot date. If your current projects/commitments will keep you from fullfilling this requirement please contact me when this will not be an issue.

3. Please Post credit " La' MaQuillage, Lisa Parkinson" when posting any of the images used from the photoshoot.
