My story
I'm a clothing artist/ clothing stylist, that designs and makes custom clothing for models and real people alike. Currently looking for models and aspiring models. I have been making custom clothing for about two years now and would like to work with models and photographers alike. I love to use color. Very bright very vibrant colors and unique color patterns. My art is crochet. I was taught the art of crochet at 10 by my grandmother Cleopatra Trammell in Boston Massachusetts. I decided that i would give this a shot and see how things go. I am looking for models to wear my designs for fashion shows in their area and help promote my creations and hopefully give aspiring models a way and a means to break into the industry. I would like to thank the very wonderful and sexy Miss Karole Anne for being the first model for Van Go Clothing. I have a very small studio set up located in Washington DC area and I am frequently in the Solomans Island area of Maryland as well. I have concepts in the works all the time so just ask me what on the drawing board. I make all kinds of things from cell phone cases, mens wallets with matching ties to the ever so cliche pillow covers and place mat sets. Currently working on a pattern for boy shorts, duster style winter trench coat special occasion purses and dresses and towel and washcloth sets.
My prices stay outrageously low because most of my creations are made while watching TV or taking a road trip or sitting at the park with my little ones. People I have worked with throw me an idea and I create it with my spin. Otherwise Im looking at a blank dress form wondering what to do next.
