JJ Rogers, Director

For the past six years, John Rogers (J.J. to his friends and colleagues) has been serving the Los Angeles and greater surrounding areas as the founder and president of his own independent film production company. Where big studios would pass and go with more mainstream projects, J.J.’s passion has always been to support independent film . He has directed and produced an impressive list of projects, ranging from ultra low
budget art house films to international action films.
Since the age of 16, J.J. knew he was going to make movies when his father handed him his first camera. He started his career by directing a television series at the age of 21, and shortly thereafter began directing television commercials and infomercials for local
businesses. It didn’t take long before the motion picture world grabbed hold of J.J. and it has never let go. As he has grown as a filmmaker, so too has the scope of J.J.’s projects. Most recently J.J. has been signed as a producer and 2nd unit Director of The Gemini Rising Project, a fast action Sci-Fi that is now in post production.  Gemini Rising is a heavy CG and green screen project.
