Hey guys, i'm Mark Brittain and i started this profile to promote myself and to get my name out there. I've been doing photography for 20 years and finally decided to pursue it as a living. Hopefully this site will help that dream become reality.

My philosophy- I like to keep things as simple as possible. Meaning the simplest images can be the most powerful.

I do not use photoshop on any of my images.

I believe that photography in an art form. Although it's only capturing a moment in time, that moment can be powerful and moving.
The lighting, the pose, the facial expression, the choice of wardrobe, makeup, etc. can collide into a work of art.

As of right now, I'm looking to collaborate with clothing designers on a trade basis. Also, models and makeup artists.

After recently being snubbed by a "model". I would like to make a few things clear.

If we set a time and place for a shoot, i ask that you show up. I take my photography seriously. I ask that you do the same with the modeling. I will gladly give my cell number to anyone who wants to shoot with me. I understand if something comes up at the last minute. Just call or text me. Even if you change your mind about the whole idea. Please have the courtesy and professionism to let me know. I will message you two to three days in advance to make sure we are still on for the shoot.
Please respond back to let me know either way. If i dont hear from you,I WILL NOT be at the location. (After driving from hickory to charlotte for a shoot, the model didn't show up. So i wasted time and gas for no reason.)

Escorts- Please understand that i don't mind escorts at all. In fact i encourage it. If you are under the age of eighteen, i require it. though i do mind you having an entourage with you. Please limit your company to one person.

Wardrobe, hair and makeup- I ask everyone that i shoot with to provide these unless i want a certain look. I have someone who can do makeup but they are not always available.
