Hello,

My name is M.D. Welch and I have been a photographer for the last 6 years and a graphics designer for the last 12 years. I am always looking to work with talented models with drive and great ideas. I am also looking for MUAs, stylists, clothing designers as well.

What I am looking to shoot:

Fashion
Editorial
Head shots
Theme/story based shoots

What I am not interested in shooting at this time:
Pinup
Nude, implied or other wise. While there is some of my work that does have implied nude in it, I am not looking to add more to my book. I will only do that type of work with models I have worked with on previous shoots. I didn’t learn photography to see you naked.
Swimsuit, see my above rant about nudity.

Regardless if I have work with you in the past, I now require that an escort attend every shoot. I want every shoot to feel safe for all on set.

All models must sign a standard model release form. I will provide 3-5 images from the shoot that you can use for personal promotion only. All images are water marked with my information. While I do include the models opinions on what images make it as finals, I do not provide all of the images from the shoot. If you need a more extensive set of usage rights, we can talk about that before or after the shoot, I am very flexible.

I work a day job as a video producer and director, so I can only shoot after 5pm during the week and some weekends. Please don't tell me you are free at 8am on Tuesday, because I am not.

While you may be doing trade work with me, I treat it the same way as a paying job, and I expect you to do the same. I understand that people get sick, things come up and shoots must be canceled. But if you no show or call me at the last minute, I will not work with you in the future.
