On Shooting Nudes: Please Note: Nude models always have top priority on all bookings. Nudes and partial nudes are my general forte and I have always enjoyed the professional, down-to-earth attitudes and carefree spirits of every nude model I've worked with - for those of you who haven't shot nudes, there IS a difference. I highly recommend it.
Newbie-friendly! Escorts are ALWAYS welcome at ANY shoot - as long as they're non-jealous escorts. ha! I'm good with directions and bringing out qualities in models they didn't realize they have! I'll put you at ease in front of a camera, treat you with respect, and I'm good at getting nice poses and various looks from new models. I'll show you how to feel yourself moving within the camera's frame. I generally don't shoot non-nudes for free, but the good news is that my rates are cheap-and-easy (I'm not! My rates are! ha-ha!). $150 for a half-day (4 hours), and $200 for a full day (7 hours) with as many looks as you want to squeeze into that time. Why are my rates so cheap? Because I can launch a newer model up to that next level where she'll have a better chance of getting noticed by a whole new level of talent - and that's worth something, don't you think? Especially - hehe - since I'll probably never hear from you again once you become rich and famous!
Implied Nudes: Recently, I'm learning to like shooting implied nudes again. I'm remembering the challenges inherent in getting as close to that edge as possible without crossing the line. It's also adding an interesting aspect to the way I shoot full and partial nudes, too. Basically: It's fun!
Obviously I pay nude models for shoots. Contact me for the rates I pay, if you're interested. I'm not quoting my rates, here, just keep in mind that $400 a day is over $100,000 a year, and I'm not a fortune 500 employer. Please, also consider what I had to go through to get it for you (longer days and much more grueling work).

I'm not a stuff-shirt, by any means. However, I am respectful, well-spoken, and well mannered and I would hope the models I work with hold similar traits and qualities, as well. I'm probably one of the most casual and easy-going guys you'll ever work with, and always open to ideas that you may want to try. I have virtually no demands of a model and I won't expect her to do anything against her will or ethics - I can't, really. My preferred style is - but not limited to - the great outdoors and has been referred to by some as "guerrilla nudes" and "drive-by shooting!" where we find a discrete location, we shoot quickly for about 10 or 15 minutes. Then, before anyone has a chance to notice, we hop back in the car and head for the next spot! The worst mistake you can make is hesitating when the coast is clear. The longer you stand there looking around, the more attention you'll draw to yourself. Just Do It! I've been doing it since 2002 and have found that it's the most fun and exciting way to shoot! If you haven't done it, it's great! Let's give it a try!

Here's my take on a few things I've noticed about portfolios, see if you concur:
On Image Views: The number of views and lists a pic has tells a much stronger story than the number of comments. Keep that in mind when viewing anyone's portfolio, as well as your own. Too bad we're not counting *right-click-save-as* for each pic, too. Then we'd really get an idea of what people like - or, more accurately, what they're afraid to *admit* they like, but they just can't seem to resist! lol! We thank you for staring!
On Fetishes: I will shoot just just about ANY form of mild fetish you like! Feet, legs, stockings, panties, footwear, pantyhose, corsets, cleavage, pinup, vinyl, costumes, nerds, geeks, cheerleaders, schoolgirls, teachers, librarians, business women, messy, simulated bondage, damsels in distress, discipline, balloons, voyeurism, exhibitionism, nudism... I like 'em ALL! lol! The mild ones, that is. They're all fun! Feel free to choose from this list for any ideas. And feel free to add a few of your own I've forgotten any!
On Darkness, Death, and Goth, in General: I DO appreciate the darker, vampire-like genres. And I've definitely seen some very stylish goth images! Great stuff. They definitely have a sophisticated sexiness to them, but let's keep the blood on the INSIDE of the body, okay? Thanks! Having said that, I'm not sure what people's odd obsessions are with despair, angst, gloom, and doom, but if I have a choice of which direction my life is going - and I do - I won't be choosing to immerse myself in insanity, depression and mania anytime soon. I MUCH prefer more uplifting, positive, and optimistic approaches to art and life. No doubt, my time as a military combat photographer has shaped my attitude on these things.
