Temna Fialka β A Canadian line designed and produced in Edmonton, Alberta by Natasha Lazarovic since 2000.
βAn eccentric local designer who specializes in custom Eastern European inspired pieces. As each piece is an entity of its own, they are never duplicated as not to loses the individuality and essence of the original piece.
The mediums are vast and detailing the core of Natasha's work. Using only authentic and raw materials, Natasha produces only that in it's highest quality. Skilled in leather work and design, jewellery and the usual mediums, Natasha produces two lines - one elaborate and profound, the other tailored to high end European Runway Fashion. Both exceptionally detailed and memorable.β
I have been sewing since the age of 7 - watching my mother sew late into the night is likely where I started to develop my taste and my passion. The rest came from years of tearing bed sheets and already sewn clothing apart and forming them to the body.
I don't use patterns - unless I am drafting one for leather work. I prefer drapping - and generally design for sleeker bodies, although custom orders may be produced.
I took Dutch Pattern Drafting at Estae's Academy in Edmonton, AB - and sold for years through local business's.
I am interested in working with positive individuals with an un-bias out look on the industry. Please contact me if you are interested in working with me - as I am always open to collaborations on a diverse range of fields (as long as it is tasteful of course).
***If you are interested in borrowing my clothing for shoots,(by this I mean professional shoots), you are more than welcome too - these clothes are nothing but clothes unless creative energy is bringing them to life. But I will have you sign a clothing release form taking financial responsibility for any and all items borrowed in the event of loss or damage to the clothing. As well acknowledging that I will recieve full written credit in any images published.
Please note that my pieces are "one of a kind". Each piece is produced only once, so if you are interested in purchasing a specific piece it may only be purchased as seen** - this means in the exact fabric, style and size. If you would like to place an order in a larger size of a specific style, you must leave room for color and fabric style differences.
