Hello Everyone!  Welcome to my page. 

All of the pictures in my portfolio are examples of my makeup, hair and wardrobe styling unless otherwise noted

My name is Lauren Palmer a.k.a Lady of Design.  I am a certified makeup artist, licensed cosmetologist and wardrobe stylist in the entertainment industry.  My talents have enabled me to receive a wide range of makeup expertise in couture fashion, editorial print, avant garde, film/television, runway, the music industry, bridal and multi-service salons and spas.  I am an artist and have a strong sense of creativity, style, and color.  I stay up to date on new and upcoming trends and techniques as well as making up a couple on my own  

I also specialize in special effect makeup, bodypainting and airbrushing techniques!

My rates are reasonable and negotiable for Portfolio Development.  If you would like for me to create a character/concept for you please feel free to contact me for rate packages and information.  I also have photography/styling packages available, ask me for details!  

Commercial clients, Agencies, Magazine/Advertising rates are determined by the individual project; rates depend on how detailed the project, supply usage and amount of time I will be needed.  Please have an estimated budget in mind when contacting me. I will always try to work within your budget to meet your needs



Calling all Models!! 
I am proud to announce a new premium service COUTURE DU JOUR.

This is a chance to really live out your modeling fantasies, or for professional models to add something to their portfolio that is totally unique. On a Couture Du Jour shoot you will work with myself a photographer and a second makeup artist/stylist to create a one of a kind temporary wardrobe assembled DURING the shoot and then shot for your fashion portfolio!

My passion is creating characters either high fashion or theatrical.  I have a strong awareness of detail and love to create specialized concepts to enrich portfolios.  I am only interested in TFP that is interesting, well thought out, artistic and will add to my portfolio.
