I'm a long time photographer interested in working with people to enhance my portfolio as well as theirs.
My shoots are always a collaboration. Some models work well in one set and some work better in another set. I don’t usually have ideas or specific shots worked out in advance. Most of what we shoot is up to you. It is the collaboration that makes the art. I change the lights often and we move from set to set. The better shots just come naturally.
Many people, for some strange reason, seem to think that somehow film and chemical prints are superior. I am proud to say all of my images are "Photoshopped." Some are scans from negatives and some are digital and some are composites.
Photoshop is my highly sophisticated darkroom. I "develop" my files and essentially "dodge and burn" just like every photographer has done since the first image came out of the primordial soup. The main difference in the process is that I do it with pixels and the others did it with chemicals.
I am primarily interested in Fine Art Nude shoots. I enjoy working in several clothed - fashion - scarf shots during the shoot to help your portfolios.
I would love to shoot some “editorials” of your hobby, musical instruments, “characters,” or work. If you know of a house, barn, loft, penthouse, apartment, industrial building, wooden boat, overgrown back yard, anything funky or junky, I would love to shoot there.
Most of my interior/studio shoots are done in my small cabinet shop in Oregon City. It is dry and heated. I roll out the seamless, hang up some draping, set up some “sets” and turn on the lights and call it a “studio”.
I use LED and daylight balanced fluorescent “hot lights” instead of those damned strobes.
My rates are negotiable. Please ask about TF shoots. We can usually work something out.
Please contact me for available prints.
