Why this quote, and not something about love or friendship? I've seen plenty of horrible things in my life, being a press photographer in some of the worst places on earth. I'm lucky my work now is to shoot the beautiful things on earth - you!

The "SHORT" Version:
A Professional Press and commercial photographer with international experience. Former photo editor and staff photographer of a large daily newspaper. Currently doing corporate photography work (executive portraits, corporate events and promotions), seniors, glamour, fashion, fine art and sports. I shoot stock for a couple of agencies, and cover regional and national events for a number of local and foreign newspapers and magazines.
I shoot on location and in my studio, will consider limited TFP/TFCD when appropriate (otherwise my rates are reasonable). I have a lot of ideas and need the right model to collaborate with me to create beautiful art. I believe an image should not only be aesthetic (and sometime it shouldn't), but it must tell a story, reflect an emotion that connects between the artist/s (photographer, model, mua & stylist) and the viewer. I'm working on a few themed series, check out my Casting Call section further down.

I have limited time for my art due to my hectic schedule, and I want to make sure that time is used properly. I welcome the opportunity of working with inexperienced models from time to time as well, as long as they are responsible and reliable. Here's what I expect from you if we schedule a shoot:
- To keep the communication line open (meaning you don't fall off the radar only to resurface 24 hours before the shoot asking: are we on for tomorrow"?
- To show up on time and prepared
- To give your best during the shoot
- To have fun and enjoy the results of the shoot
Needless to say, I have the same expectations from myself.
If we schedule a shoot and work together - you'll find that I can be a good ally and will do whatever I can to help you with your career, as I've done for numerous models. You'll find that I treat you as a partner in the project, that I care about your comfort level and make sure the session is enjoyable. And last but not least - I will not only concentrate on my own vision - but will be open to yours.
If you're a flake and use this site for ego boost or to find a date - do yourself a favor and don't contact me. My "useless so-called-models" bin is full, and yes - this industry is small enough.

Friends Requests: I AM truly flattered, but I will only add you as a friend if I we've had the pleasure of working together in the past, or I really appreciate your work. I don't expect to be treated differently. If you have 1000 friends in your list - that kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think? I'd like to think that MM is a professional community, not another myspace. Call me crazy :-)
*** Scheduling TFCDs ***
Because of my paid shoots, I only have 3-4 open slots a month for TFCD. When a paid shoot is canceled, I open it up for TFCD. This may be a 24-48 hour notice, sometimes less. If you're on my IM list (AIM/Yahoo) you'll be one of the first to hear about it and have first refusal on that slot. On IM I can close that slot in 10-15 minutes, after which we continue to discuss the details of the shoot online. My point here is that I'm a fan of immediate communication. If you want to work with me, you WANT to be on my IM list. Rest assured, I will ONLY use IM for business purposes.
