I like to shoot costumed models (historic/ fantastic/ gothic), and am happy to work with the model's ideas for what sort of images he or she needs. I've got a portable lights setup (well, still needs to plug in) and could take it out to good locations. Otherwise, I'm located in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood and can do shoots here, or meet in the city and use natural light.
I am only doing TF work on special projects now. If you just want a quick headshot, I'll take about 10 shots, you pick the best one and I'll email it to you (or put it on your USB stick) on the spot for $25. A full 2+ hour portfolio shoot will cost $150 and I will have the edited images to you within 3-10 days (usually 5). I can also do full portfolio websites based on wordpress with blogging and social media integration (facebook, myspace, twitter, etc), and am partnered with a web design and marketing group if you need something more elaborate.

Info for models:
For an intitial shoot, please plan on 2-3 hours shooting time and bring a couple outfits, or at least a 3 different shirts. You'll need to do your own hair and makeup or ask me to find a makeup artist (they usually charge, btw); if doing your own, please don't forget makeup remover so that we can change looks. Interesting props or accesories are great additions - gloves, hats, jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, and props like musical instruments, flowers, food items, candles, masks, exotic pets (maybe not on the first go... my roommate has a cat anyway), fetish gear,or weapons (fake or real, unloaded) are all possibilities. Costumes or historic garb are great, and I'm very interested in shooting dancers, musicians, and fire handlers if you do any of that.
A note to the middle aged men who write me asking to do nude shoots with them: it will cost triple my portfolio rate and my husband will be running the lights.
