Yes, that's me above, in a rare occurrence of the photographer becoming the model. A model (and aspiring photographer) friend of mine, Chloe Atnip, took this photo of me as a Valentine's Day gift for my fiancee, Rachel.
I am a full-time professional photographer, experienced with many different genres of photography, and currently focusing on high-end wedding documentation. I also shoot a large amount of maternity and boudoir portraits, including bridal boudoir with specific bridal themes in images for the new bride to give her new groom on their wedding night.
Besides shooting weddings in my home turf of Southern California, I also shoot destination weddings and have accompanied brides and grooms to Hawaii, The Virgin Islands, Berkeley/San Francisco, Arizona, and Las Vegas to document their vows.
I have a very relaxed and easy-going personality that allows even the most camera-shy people to open up and produce some amazing photos.
I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and began formal studies in photography during my sophomore year of high school (class of '81) and shot my first weddings as lead photographer when I was only 19 -- many, many years ago. I now shoot 100% digital using top-of-the-line Canon cameras and lenses for all of my shots.
I currently live in Murrieta, California, near the Temecula Wine Country. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and am available to shoot not only within the Southern California area, but for destination weddings and events as well.
