Due to a series of bookings, traveling up to 3 hours, and the models not showing up or calling to cancel the booking in a timely manner I now require a $30.00 (money order only, no checks) retaining fee and a 24 hour notice for canceling the photo shoot. When we shoot, the retaining fee will be returned or, if 24 hour notice is given, or more, the retainer will be returned.  Canceling a booking in advance is common courteousy and part of being professional.  If we have worked with each other, in the past, the fee will be waived.

Remember, we are here to help you and you are here to help us.  I understand problems and issues come up but it is common courteousy and professional, to let each other know.

Also, if certain work is agreed upon when booking for the shoot, please follow through with the certain work.  It is part of the reason why the booking is made and it was agreed upon when talking about and booking the shoot.

Please, if you do not shoot nude work please take it off of your profile as being marked "yes" to shooting nude work.  If you have it marked "yes" to nude work, you will be asked about shooting nude work.

If you are under 18, I expect either a parent or appointed adult (by your parents) to be present during the photo shoot. 

Please be professional and show up to the shoot ready to work.  If you are not feeling well, sick, tired, hung over or had to much fun the night before the shoot, please cancel the shoot.  I expect photographers to be professional about these issues as well.  Neither party are giving 110% to the photo shoot and it is not fair to either party.

I am in the Des Moines local area.  I know of some nice places to shoot around the local area or close by in other locations.  I can also travel to you, we can shoot outdoors at your location or I can set up my lights and equipment and shoot indoors if you have enough room. 

I have been a photographer for over 25 years.  I have been working with models for over 10 years now.  I am located in Ankeny, Iowa.  I do all types of photography.  I am easy going, love to have fun on a shoot and I get the images that you look great in your portfolio.
