I graduated the Academy of Art College in 2003 with a BA in Fine
Art and Documentary Photography.

I have worked jobs in many aspects of photography, such as, a stock photo agent, wildlife identifier and researcher, photo restoration and retouching, designing children’s nature books and calendars. I have also worked as an assistant to many photographers, a film scanner and processor, digital and manual photo printer, freelance and more.

For the last 10 years I have been photographing and interviewing bands/musicians, writing reviews on live shows, designing album covers and layouts, promo packs, shooting weddings. I have been working for the Los Gatos Film Festival (yearly), Knumbskull Productions, Lorelei Records, Vans Warped Tour, and many events. My photography has appeared in many publications such as, Your Music Magazine (monthly), AMP Magazine, Drum Magazine, Carvin Catalogue, City on a Hill Press, Santa Cruz Weekly, and many online publications.

In photography my goals are to not only obtain the moment, but the movement, feel, smells, and sounds of the moment I am experiencing. I try to break the barriers people hold around them by developing relationships and gaining enough trust to let me in  to capture what is true. I want to preserve not just one thousandth of a second but a few seconds, to an entire day, mood, or moment shared between people, in one image. I try to take all of the feelings I get from the world around me and express it as art in a positive way, and hope sharing it with people will encourage them to do so as well.

Through this site, I hope to meet new people in this community and broaden my style. Being a young female photographer and have been a model myself, I feel I can offer models a sense of trust and unique style that can take their portfolio to a more modern and fresh level.
