BRIEF UPDATE: I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH SOME HEALTH ISSUES FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS, I AM VERY SORRY IF I HAVE NOT GOTTEN BACK TO ANYONE WHO HAS CONTACTED ME. THE BEST WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ME NOW IS TEXT MESSAGE OR YOU CAN SEND A MESSAGE TO MY DEAR FRIEND,
ANDY WEBSTER THRU MODEL MAYHEM AND HE WILL GET THAT MESSAGE TO ME. THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND GOD BLESS
Aloha and thanks for visiting my port! My name is Raina – lucky enough to have born, raised and live on the Big Island of Hawaii. I have been modeling for several years now, take my work very seriously and love it more every day. I'm very easy to work with, enjoy life and will make you laugh all day long (unless you are a total grouch, in which case I’ll guarantee I’ll at least make you smile.)
Modeling is now how I make my living and I am eager to expand my horizons, meet talented new photographers, MUA’s, stylists, designers and models. Because this is my career – and because I am a mother with a gorgeous two and a half year old son, my willingness to do TFCD is extremely limited.
TFCD will only be considered if your project is one that I am very interested in or if both of us will definitely benefit from working together. My rates are industry standard and I am happy to adjust them based on travel, project, budget etc. Don’t hesitate to message me to discuss your project – I usually find we can come to an agreement.
I update my portfolio regularly so stop back often. I respond to messages as quickly as possible, though if I am traveling, there may be a day or so delay…mahalo for your patience.
I have worked with a number of photographers and models and will be happy to provide references on any of them to other professionals.
I also check references very carefully, so please be prepared to provide them unless I have worked with you previously.
Note: I do have tattoos and they are not going away. They are extremely well-done and photographers have generally regarded them as an asset. I will be happy to send photos of them on request.
Travel: I am in the process of setting up several modeling tours and will post them here. I am, of course, willing to travel to work with specific photographers, though expenses will need to be covered in advance.
Upcoming:
In an effort to return something to my beloved island home, I am organizing
Fashions for Food to benefit
The Food Basket, Hawaii’s food bank, with two talented photographer friends, Hansen Tsang (MM #586442) and Andy Webster (MM #614).
Along with Andy Webster (MM #614), I am also co-producing
Hawaiian Heat, a 2010 calendar with a totally new twist on Island Beauty and Sensuality. We are casting models now, so if interested, contact either one of us.
