A Different Perspective

Well, to begin with, this is not going to be "About Me", this is going to be "About Us".  We are Benn and Jennifer Shannon and we make up A Different Perspective Photoraphy.  We are professionals and have been doing photography for a number of years. But, I guess you can still call us amateurs because we do photography for the enjoyment of it, not for the money.  Benn has a full time job as a 911 Dispatcher in a pretty large city.  Jenn is an artist and works full time in Photography.  We believe that when you are photographing a subject it should be about who is the model, not who is the photographer!  We want to capture the essence of you.

We are professionals in that we do charge for our work.  Our prices are very reasonable and we do have references.  We also do TFP/CD shoots as well, especially if it is an idea we have and our asking you to work with us.

Our Studio is located in Plano, TX.  We do quite a bit of sessions in the studio but also very much enjoy shooting with natural light in the outdoors.
