My name is pronounced "Shay-mus". It is an Irish name. I am an American photographer.
I accept all friend requests. This is Model Mayhem, after all, not Facebook.
I am an artist in pursuit of the timeless and beautiful. My goal is to create art that is imaginative, smart, and original... to create something that will still be on museum walls after we're dead.
My camera and computer are my paintbrushes, and my paint is the beauty of the natural world.
If you'd like to collaborate in order to create some art or update your portfolio, then contact me. I have some pretty spectacular ideas up my sleeve, and I am open to trade shoots with models who inspire me.
That said, I am often quite busy, and I have a million great photos that I've already shot that still need to be finished and published, so don't take it personally if I don't find the time to do a trade shoot with you. Paid work takes priority.
If you have work for me, contact me for a quote on how much a particular project will cost. I am available for freelance work in the fields of editorial, advertising, fashion, music, and fine art photography, and I am currently seeking representation.
I exhibit my work from time to time in Los Angeles and other art galleries throughout southern California. I'm looking forward to exhibiting in other areas in the future.
I prefer to work with natural models who haven't had any work done, and who know how to spell and construct complete sentences. And ladies, please take it easy on the tattoos. They make you less easy to photograph, and require me to do more work in Photoshop. Leave your skin the way it was made - flawless.
I retain the copyrights to my images. I am willing to travel if expenses are paid for. Party on.

Exhibited in multiple galleries throughout California.
