Hello and welcome! My name is Mike Spicer, I am a 20-year old portrait photographer residing in San Diego, CA.

I have been photographing for over 6 years and constantly learning day by day. I have recently taken off all my old work and refreshed it as of Feb/2012. I am currently not attending school so it gives me more time to shoot on weekends and in the evenings on weekdays but I do have a separate job and photography is my hobby and passion. My studio(Distinction Studios) is located in Escondido, CA and is available for studio work, quick portraits, headshots, and lookbooks which requires a low hourly fee(unless I use you for TF*). I like to shoot outdoors as much as indoors, I like to have vibrant colors, pasty colors, and dark colors in my photos, but I love B&W! I get a lot of inspiration from mostly japanese culture and fashion, Tim Burton, the 1800's, Estevan Oriol, and every one of you guys on MM.

TF*= I am open to ideas that would suit my interests ,my style, and portfolio with the respect of your interests. You can also look at my casting calls when I wanna throw a TF* out there, I make all my TF's fun and worth it. If you have previous experience and like my work and you think you can bring something awesome to the table for us, message me and lets see what we can create so don't be shy!

SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE SHOOTING WITH ME.
A.My studio has props and some wardrobe my stylist leaves behind at times but if you have something useful, bring it but definitely bring outfits!
B.I try 100% on giving you my best quality work with every image, so I'd like you to try 100% on giving me your best shot.
C.I always want a laid back & comfortable atmosphere to work in, it will help me and you connect better, so leave your nerves behind, relax, take a deep breath, let's turn on some music and have some fun!
D.ESCORTS = no problem, just bring someone who's willing to jump in and help, I don't want someone just sitting there, but notify me first.
E.At the end of the day, you will be signing a release if you want ANYTHING from me ever just to be safe.
