Ever since i got my first real 35mm camera, it was like it was a second limb. Its a standard point, focus and shoot camera, but i wanted more. It all started when i signed up for my first photography class at NVCC. I had so many ideas running through my head, it was hard to keep up with them in my pictures. As the years went on, i gradually started to accomplish what i was interested in.

I have been trained as a professional portrait artist, so i wanted to establish that in my photos. Currently im very interested in Black and white photography. I love textures, make up, body language, and facial expressions.

I guess you could say i like advertisement photography with a twist of art added to it (my own twist of lemon and lime). I also enjoy raising awareness and documentry photography, but im still working on topics to raise awareness (ie: war, AIDS, gay rights, racism, poverty, and the homeless).

Right now, im just looking for models to help me expand my portfolio of portraits and maybe some advertising (clothes, cars, etc.) But i dont just want any model, i like models that have an "artistic" face. A face that when they look at, they never forget. Hair, piercings, tattoos, makeup, and wild colorful, and patterned clothing are my interests.

Setting is key. Right now i've been interested in using the run down, abandoned, and rugged backgrounds. Take South East DC for example. Grafitti is everywhere, abandoned homes, abstract trees, vines, and fences.

It's beautiful in its own dirty glory. I love it.
