LOVE WHAT YOU DO AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW!
PASSION. Well, this is pretty much how I live my life and weight my priorities. It is not always about the money... but the money is always a nice. I really work hard at the pursuit of trying to catch that rare moment in time where life, people, a look, a place, or even an object can be so beautiful that the magic that moment can only be captured and preserved through photography for all to enjoy.
KEEP IT REAL. My desire is to always use natural light, as much as possible without too much post-production work. I do make use Photoshop, and with over 19 years graphics arts experience, I know how, and love to, use the software as the powerful tool that it is... for when it is really needed. If and when I can, I stay away from too much editing. In my opinion, if you are spending more than 10 minutes, per image in Photoshop, you are spending way too much time editing. I prefer to keep it as real as possible, to just utilize and bring out the model's beauty, and make the location come to life.
GET OUT AND SHOOT. I like getting outdoors to shoot and making the most of a location. Most of my work centers around advertising in Hawaii, which is comprised of tourism-related promotion from the activity industry... to retail fashion. However, my real passion is to travel and photographing places and people. I truly live for "those candid moments" and endeavor to capture them. I'm always looking to expand my portfolio, and try out new equipment and techniques, so models who like my work, or who have interest in my abilities, please contact me, if you're open for TFP/TFCD arrangements!
WORKING TOGETHER. Collaborating with others, on location or before the shoot, is so important and makes for amazing photography. So, I am always open, for suggestions and ideas, to work with any model or client to achieve something truly unique and beautiful. I am not an "attitude photographer"... I always want my shoots to be creative, unique, effective, flexible, productive and also fun too!
I CAN ALWAYS IMPROVE. I am constantly trying to better myself and always so well aware that I have plenty of room for improvement. I don't ever think I am ever the best... not even close! But I would love to have the respect of those that are accomplished with the ability to learn and receive suggestions from of those that I truly respect.

Aerial Photography - Helicopter Shoots (doors-off) - Always game for those! I have my own Miller certified, safety-harness and shock-absorbing tether... So I come prepared for any helicopter situation/configuration. No added gear needed by the client or helicopter company.
