NOTE: I'm always looking for a few models to pose at workshops held in my home...from basic how-to instruction to the art of nudes. Pay will vary according to paid attendees and content. Contact me for a short test shoot for consideration to be on the "short list".
I love my work and the interesting people that I meet. I'd like many of you to be among them.
My shoots involve teamwork between the model/client and me. My career as a personal counselor and my psychology degree set me apart. If you don't think that communication and trust are part of getting excellent shotz, please think again. Being technically accurate is only part of the picture.
My home and studio are where I shoot 95% of the time. The entire house is decorated with creating photos in mind. I've got a main studio plus 3 more alternate studio spaces and lots of natural window light in a very private neighborhood.

I often shoot nudes, but not always. Why? Because it’s an ultimate form of self-acceptance. To have beautiful, tasteful images of yourself having very little decoration to hide behind, is a freeing sense of self-pride. To "love yourself first" is something we all need to do. And I love playing an innovative role in that.
If you'd like to have my unique style of work in your port or in your personal collection, then you can. Trade (TF) shoots are used for projects I've got going. Ask me for the latest info. There's no payment of cash to models unless we're both getting paid by a client. But payment (in TF shoots) can come in the form of high quality images that we can each use to strut our stuff. My rates to shoot with you will vary according to my photo needs at the time, often with art and promotion in mind. But if you pay me, I won't make your shotz public without your permission. Most all of the shotz you see have been TF shoots with a few workshops among them.
If we shoot TF, you'll get to choose 2 edits per look that we shoot, after you see all your shotz in a password-protected gallery online at
www.shotzcreatives.com. Plus, I always add some edits of my own that you're free to use for promotion, just like the others that you choose.
Experienced models or not...it matters very little to me. Yes, your skills make a difference. But an upbeat, "team player" attitude can go a long way in making up for experience.
I only work with those whom I feel are on the same page and who are likely to make a shoot "productive fun". I'm an easygoing, enthusiastic photographer who combines his experience and expertise with a heavy dose of intuition to develop the concepts you see here. You'll never work with me and not get a feel for how you're doing as I can't seem to shut up when I shoot. Most say that's a good thing, however?!
