I’m an experienced photographer in many arenas. People and portraits are my strongest calling. In my former career I was all about communication and relationships and I find that the best photos…as far as I’m concerned…are those that have honest expression. That can’t be achieved without comfort and communication between the subject and the photographer.
That’s about the only theme I see throughout my work. I love the challenge of doing things differently but you’ll always see real emotion either in faces or in body language.
This port is designed to showcase my work with artistic and glamour nudes/implieds, or other shotz that display the beautiful human form. My other port, Shotz Photography (205659), has a different purpose. Models who have their shotz here or who respond through this site, are assumed to have a healthy attitude about their bodies and who see them as vehicle for meaningful expression. I admire that, and I would hope that my work is evidence of the respect that I have for it.
I shoot as often as I can because:
I love to find creativity and beauty in everyone and everything.
It’s my best form of artistic expression ‘cause I can’t draw worth crap.
I like to use photos to make people happy.
I want to get better with every shot I take.
Things to note:
Even if we’re shooting for one of my ongoing projects, you and I will always work as a team, with thoughts/ideas/concepts. That pays off in better shotz for both of us.
Escorts are welcome if we’ve never shot before. If it helps you relax more, it’s a good idea. But during the shoot itself, they need to remain out of sight and out of mind.
A shoot usually lasts 3 hours or more. Longer, if our energy is good. That often means you should bring 6 outfits or so. And you can use what you want out of my closet full of a variety of extras.
In all circumstances, you’ll get to view all of your session shotz in a password-protected gallery online. That will happen no longer than one week after your shoot. Often much sooner!
You’ll be sent a model release ahead of time that must be signed prior to the shoot. You will have use of all shotz for promotion and I will retain all the copyrights to them. You’ll also receive a specified number of edited images according to the individual terms of this agreement by both parties. Plus, I’ll always send you copies of any shotz I edit for my own purposes, so you can use them too.
Photography is my full-time profession, so my time is valuable. If you are more than 20 minutes late to a scheduled shoot, that shoot will be cancelled, unless you call me immediately and we agree otherwise. You need to keep an organized day and so do I. Thanks in advance for this consideration.
On a much lighter note, I truly enjoy what I do; my great pleasure comes from adding to how good people feel about themselves through my photos. That drives me. Models’ comments about their experiences in working with me can be found under “testimonials” on my smugmug web page.
