My name is Nelson Hawks and I'm originally from California, but I moved out to Scottsdale, AZ in July of '07 to do an internship with FORD Models Arizona. While at FORD I worked as a model scout, I ran the open calls for new models, I dressed models backstage at major fashion shows for Duncan Quinn, Heidi Merrick, Terexov, both Scottsdale and Phoenix Fashion Weeks, Dillards, Liz Claiborne, Diesel, Conde Nast, David's Bridal, and countless others. Once I was finished with the internship, I started working free lance and I've been the wardrobe stylist for the cover and 5 page spread for Arizona Weddings magazine, the cover and 7 page spread for Arizona Bride magazine, I've styled campaigns for both Jaguar and Volkswagon, the cover and 5 page spread for AZ Teen Magazine, 3 covers for Post magazine, covers for Arizona Foothills and I'm the lead stylist for a new fashion magazine called Reklis.
