Chuanda Mason, 29 years old, was born in Seoul, S. Korea. She was raised in Odenton, Maryland as a military brat. Her mother is Korean and father African-american. Chuanda grew up in a middle class family in the suburbs of Anne Arundel County. She has a twin and a younger sister. She is a single mother of a six year old boy. She began her career in acting in 2006 after 4 years of modeling in the Maryland/DC area as a fashion and glamour model. Chuanda got into the modeling scene a few years ago after herself serving in the military as a US Army Sergeant. She is best known for her appearances in popular men’s magazines such as Blackmen’s magazine, King magazine, XXL magazine, and Show magazine, she also did some modeling for regional and national urban magazines, ads, and calendars including the 2007 Seagrams Gin Calendar.
Upon her arrival to Los Angeles in 2006, she managed to work on 2 hit television shows. The most popular and most recognized BET’s Hell Date. This show was the perfect fit for Chuanda. She was able to display her naturalness with comedy in front of the camera. Chuanda would like to be considered the "black Jenny McCarthy". She definitely has the looks along with a great sense of humor. “With Hollywood calling my name, the future is bright and I hopefully will land the role of my dreams as a regular on a hit sitcom,” she said.
After BET’s Hell Date, she competed on the highly talked about show NBC’s American Gladiator, where she showed the world that she was not just a pretty face. She went up against Gladiators twice her size and gave them a run for their money. Chuanda is a very athletic woman who has been a tomboy all her life.
After her break from NBC’s American gladiator she found a desire to write. She had so many experiences from her past relationships and with the motivation from the show Hell Date, she started and finished her first book “Love Made Me Crazy”.
I am looking for strictly paid work, especially in the National print, and commercial areas and now exploring the acting arenas. I am NOT interested in PORN or any kind of NUDE work. I consider myself a classy, well respected model and that is just not for me. But please hit me a message if you would like to work with me. I enjoy spokesmodel type work and hosting events. I will do "Exposure" stuff if there are great opportunities along with it. Please do not contact me if your quality of work does not match the quality of photography that is in my portfolio. Please take a look at Import EyeCandy Studios, Kem West Photography, HEADHUNTER Photography, MC Studios, KS Photography, MRM Photography, JC Rainey, Kendal Carr, Tim Rogers, Custom Eyes Studio, J Wilson Photogaphy, Roy Cox, Studio 63 West, and ECM if you are unclear. I am very selective of where my images are displayed and keep in mind of "Overexposure", so if your talent is great...please contact me.

Former BET Reality TV Star Shares Relationship Disasters
Chuanda Mason from BET’s Hell Date Chronicles Love Life in New Collection of Memoirs
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Love hurts, or so the song says. It can often be so intense that it drives people to the brink – or over the edge – of insanity. In her entertaining new book, Love Made Me Crazy (published by AuthorHouse), actress and model Chuanda Mason shares her dating and relationship woes in the hopes that other young women will learn from her mistakes.
“Have you ever loved someone so much that you found yourself not thinking with your brain but constantly letting your heart make decisions that you would not ordinarily think twice about?” Mason writes. “Of course you have. On so many occasions I said to myself enough is enough but I still stayed because my heart would not let me walk away.”
Beginning with her toxic relationship at age 16 with a physically and verbally abusive older man, Love Made Me Crazy follows Mason through her 20s as she recounts several unhealthy relationships, both with her initial boyfriend and the married man she dated after that.
After her disastrous relationship with KC, a married military man, he leaves town without notice, and Mason moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. In the club one night, she met JC, the man who would prove to make her crazier in love than any of the others. She writes openly and candidly about their tumultuous relationship, the money she spent on him, the disrespect she endured, the physical abuse they both subjected one another to, and the dozens of times they broke up and got together again.
Now finally rid of JC, Mason is ready to move on again. She is hopeful that by sharing her stories, women in similar situations will realize that they are not alone and find the strength to move on to more fulfilling relationships. Full of self-effacing humor and real-life characters, Love Made Me Crazy is a relatable, entertaining read.
Chuanda Mason was born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Gambrills, MD in a military family. In 2006, after four years of modeling in the Maryland and Washington D.C. area, she embarked on an acting career. She is best known from working on BET’s popular dating show, “Hell Date”. She is a single mother of a 7-year-old son. Love Made Me Crazy is Mason’s first book.
